Terms of Service

1. The service

EU AI Scanner provides automated technical scans of publicly accessible websites for indicators related to EU AI Act transparency obligations, plus reports, monitoring and related features.

2. Not legal advice

Reports are automated technical indicators only. They are not legal advice, not a legal determination of compliance or non-compliance, and no lawyer-client relationship is created. You are responsible for your own compliance and should consult qualified counsel.

3. Acceptable use

Only scan websites you own, operate, or are authorised to assess (competitive research on public pages is permitted where lawful). You must not use the service to overload third-party sites, circumvent access controls, or process unlawful content.

4. Accounts & billing

Subscriptions renew until cancelled and can be cancelled anytime from the billing portal, effective at period end. Prices exclude VAT; VAT is applied at checkout where required. Fair-use limits per plan are described on the pricing page.

5. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claims arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for regulatory fines, indirect or consequential damages, or decisions taken in reliance on reports.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-product. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
